We have 173 rooms from Presidential Suite, Master Suite, Junior Suites and Deluxe Standard rooms with and without balconies, and partial and full ocean views. Some of our rooms have two double beds or one king size bed. The rooms are equipped with TV dish signal, servibar, bathtub and are fully carpeted. We have a large Convention Center called Mar De Cortez, where we can hold up to 800 people for dinner and 900 in auditorium style. The hotel offers two restaurants inside. One is El Kiosko, which we consider a cafeteria type and the other one is a Gourmet restaurant El Pueblito. Our Bacanora bar offers live music during the weekend. Outside we have two large pools, one is heated. We offer a jacuzzi and a kid's heart shaped pool. We have a Palapa which serves snacks and drinks in the pool area, and we also have a pool bar available for drinks. Right next to the pool area we have a water sport center for people who want to enjoy watersports like jet skiing, water bicycles, banana rides, etc. Behind the hotel we have a wonderful and splendid range of mountains. We are proud to have had distinguished guests in our hotel such as Antonio Banderas and his wife Melanie and the cast of "The Mask of Zorro". All of the ocean scenes were filmed here in San Carlos. On a scale from 1 to 10, San Carlos would rate a 9 in regards to beauty and safety between all Mexican resort areas.
